Six homeowner reviews, word for word

Middletown HVAC has brought back my faith in good honest, customer service and good quality workmanship! I WOULD recommend them to anyone!

Brian and his coowner are the best. They came out in a huge snowstorm arriving in a snowstorm to restore heat to my sisters house. Such a dedicated team that truly wants no customer to be left in the cold.

Our AC system wasn’t cooling, and the company that installed it has been acquired so many times, we never knew who was showing up when we called them. So I decided to try our luck with a local company, and I’m so glad I did. I scheduled the appointment online, got text updates, received a reminder the morning of the appointment, and the technician, Brian, showed up on time. I turned on the AC via an app and he was able to diagnose the issue while he was walking around the side of our house, before he even saw the condenser! He said the fan sounded slow (spot on), said we probably just needed a new capacitor, verified that with a charge tester, and 15 mins later we had working AC. Prompt, professional, and accurate — what’s not to like?

Brian came right away to my mom’s house and diagnosed the heater issue. Had the part the next day and had my mom’s heater up and running for her. He saved her from another company who told her she needed a whole new system. I would def use them and recommend them to anyone.

Great service and support from Bryan. He diagnosed the real issue by doing a series of tests and didn’t jump to replacing the most expensive part. Was able to get our heat back on immediately.

Six out of five stars for sure.

I recently used Middletown to replace my tankless water heater. Wish I had used them years ago instead of my original plumbing company.

My last heater should have still been working fine, but had been having sporadic issues for a few years. I had the original local company and a competitor out a couple times last year to try to diagnose its ongoing issues, and I even replaced a part myself, yet it was failing. Middletown listened to me on the phone carefully and came out quickly to see the issue. The tech listed thoroughly to everything I had to describe about its history. (As a woman I am still used to many men not respecting my ability to understand mechanical concepts or make sound decisions, so I especially appreciate the full respect and partnership that I always received from every member of Middletown’s team.)

He identified a couple likely causes including one no one else had (which made so much sense when he posed it)… and then the owner came out to confirm and write up the proposal. Even though it was worst case scenario and proved how much money I had wasted going with the last team years ago… their price was less than I feared and most importantly it was within my budget.

Their work was on schedule, performed promptly and without frustration, and has held up beautifully. I have complete confidence in their knowledge, skills and honesty. I will use no one else for future work and recomend them to everyone.

Clear choices, with your needs in mind

Advice that puts your home first.

Honest service means explaining the problem without turning it into a sales pitch. If a responsible repair makes sense, we tell you. If replacement is the better long term choice, we explain the reasons and the tradeoffs. You deserve a recommendation that fits your home and your budget, with room to ask questions and decide.

  • We assess the equipment. Recommendations consider condition, safety, repair needs, and the comfort you want.
  • We explain the options. You can compare a suitable repair with replacement when appropriate.
  • You choose the next step. We give you the scope and price, answer questions, and proceed with your approval.

If we identify a safety concern, we explain the findings and any reason the equipment must remain off while the issue is addressed.

Useful answers before you book

Questions about working with our team.

Where can I read your reviews?
Our Reviews page shares homeowner experiences, and our public Google Business Profile shows the current rating and review count. Read the full stories to understand the service customers received.
What is the difference between a diagnostic and a replacement estimate?
A diagnostic visit assesses a problem with existing equipment and includes findings and a repair recommendation. A replacement estimate reviews a proposed new installation. Our replacement estimates are free; diagnostic charges are listed on our service pages.
How do you explain pricing?
We publish service charges and provide repair pricing before approved work. For installation, our estimator helps you explore options, and an on-site assessment confirms the complete scope and final proposal.
What if I have a concern after a visit?
Contact us and describe what changed. We review the concern and arrange the appropriate follow-up. Applicable parts, labor, and equipment warranty terms are provided with your work.
Do you service older equipment?
Yes. We work on many older heating and cooling systems, including boilers and oil equipment. Tell us the equipment type, model, and concern so we can confirm the service you need.
Where do you work?
We serve Delaware County, Chester County, the Main Line, and nearby suburbs from Glen Mills. Call or text with your location if you are unsure whether you are in our service area.
