What have you noticed about your water?

Different conditions need different treatment. Tell us what you notice and we will explain which checks are relevant before recommending equipment.

White deposits on fixtures

Mineral buildup may be involved. Testing helps establish the water conditions and the appropriate equipment options.

Orange or brown stains

Staining can have different sources. We assess relevant readings before discussing a treatment approach.

Soap residue or stiff laundry

Hardness may contribute to these concerns. We can measure hardness and explain suitable softening options.

Grit in faucet screens

We assess sediment concerns and explain filtration options suited to the water and plumbing.

Blue-green staining

Tell us where it appears. Water chemistry and plumbing may need assessment before any treatment is selected.

A taste or odor concern

We discuss the water source and the concern. Contact your supplier about sudden changes or drinking-water safety questions.

Care for your home’s water-using systems

Water conditions matter to your equipment.

Water quality can affect maintenance needs for water heaters and other equipment. We review the selected manufacturer’s requirements alongside the water conditions in your home.

  • Tank water heaters. We review equipment condition and maintenance requirements, including sediment-related care.
  • Tankless water heaters. Water conditions affect service and descaling requirements for the selected model.
  • Boilers and hydronic systems. Fill-water quality and system water requirements need to follow the equipment guidance.
  • Humidifiers. Water conditions can affect pads, drains, and maintenance needs.
  • Other household uses. We discuss the concerns you want treatment to address and the limits of the proposed system.

Planning a tankless installation? We review water-quality requirements and explain any recommended treatment and maintenance as part of the project.

Service built on trust.

These Google reviews describe our team’s communication, care, and workmanship on local service and installation jobs.

Had a great experience working with Bryan & Heather. Started with an emergency call late evening during a bad winter storm when our old HVAC broke. Bryan came right out to diagnose the problem. Due to our old system being very old, it made sense to replace the entire system rather then the specific part which caused the issue. Bryan took the time to explain everything so I could make an informed decision and trusting his guidance. He even came back in the middle of the night to leave space heaters for our family until the new system could be installed.

Since the new system was installed we have a few minor issues, most of which are due to our unique house issues. However, Bryan or his team comes right out immediately upon contacting them. I would definitely recommend Middletown HVAC to anyone dealing with HVAC issues.

I just used Middletown HVAC for the first time and it is safe to say I found my new service provider. From start to finish the tech Cody was very polite, knowledgeable and thorough. He made sure to explain everything that was being done and answered every question I had, I have to say he was wise beyond his years! If you are in the Delaware County area I would highly recommend this company!

Useful answers before you call

Water treatment questions.

How do I know whether my water is hard?
A hardness test gives a useful measurement for discussing treatment and equipment care. Visible scale can be a reason to ask, but we use readings rather than appearance alone.
Does your assessment show whether water is safe to drink?
No. Hardness, iron, and pH checks are not a complete drinking-water safety test. Contact your water supplier or an appropriate certified laboratory for safety concerns.
Will a softener address staining?
That depends on the source and water conditions. We assess relevant findings and explain whether softening or a different treatment approach is suitable.
Do I need whole-home treatment or a drinking-water filter?
We compare your goals, water conditions, and the treatment options. Whole-home and point-of-use equipment serve different purposes, so the right choice depends on the concern.
What does treatment cost to maintain?
Costs depend on the equipment and water use. We explain filter or media replacement, salt where applicable, service needs, and other ongoing requirements before installation.
What should I do if I am worried about water safety?
Contact your water supplier or appropriate local authority for guidance, and use certified laboratory testing when advised. A treatment-equipment sales demonstration should not replace a proper safety assessment.
Should water be assessed before a tankless installation?
We review the selected manufacturer’s water-quality requirements and assess relevant conditions. We explain any treatment recommendation and the ongoing maintenance needed for that equipment.
